Your wife cares more about your sanctification than you do

Just a thought…your wife cares more about your sanctification than you do.  That’s been my experience anyway, and if you are a guy who happens to be married, chances are it’s true for you too. Don’t believe me?  Ask her.  She cares about you (singular) because she cares about you (plural – you and her) and about your family (if you have kids).  Don’t ignore this fact.

My wife is a gift from God in many areas (all areas?), but especially in the pursuit of holiness.  When I’m “tempted” to step out onto any number of “slippery slopes,” she is very often the person God uses to get me off that “slope” and back onto the right path.

Lessons?  Be grateful for your wife, be open with your wife…and stay off the “slippery slopes.”
